Safety Standards

Safety is a key factor in a company's efficiency. At Durbin Geothermal safety is one of our primary concerns. Through rigorous screening, continuous training, and dedication of our employees, we strive to exceed safety regulations established for our industry and optimize our efficiency. In addition to our company's training courses, our employees have completed the following courses: OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Course, American Red Cross Standard First Aid and American Red Cross CPR/AED - Adult Course.

Training Sessions

Durbin Geothermal hosts a weekly safety meeting with its personnel, as well as refresher courses to ensure that safety is at the top of everyone's mind. We also collaborate with other organizations such as the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association and the Illinois Association of Groundwater Professionals to present training courses for anyone in the ground source geothermal industry. We are currently working with the Geothermal Alliance of Illinois to develop a training curriculum for geothermal loop installers. We remain the top industry leaders by setting standards of excellence among loop field technicians.
